Your hosts, Eva and Roland with little Aaron, welcome you to The Rocks Homestay at Punakaiki.
We are Swiss and have immigrated to New Zealand in Summer 2008. Eva is a highschool teacher in French and Italian, Roland is a certified accountant. Together we share the passion for cooking, art, sports & music. While Eva loves to paint and to build sculptures, Roland focuses on the field of photography. In the section "photogallery" you find a small selection of photos taken by Roland.

ECO-FRIENDLY COMMITMENT
In recognition of our commitment to the environment and to further enhance the pleasure of your stay we take the following actions:
We conserve heat
We employ alternative energy resources by using solar water heating
We recycle where possible
We compost food waste
We use only bio-degradable cleaning agents
We are volunteers with the Blue Penguin Trust
and last but not least we are able to serve you free range eggs from our own chicken & organic vegies & herbs from our own garden.
